A leading technology organization is seeking a Business Operations Manager in Bangkok to lead procurement strategy and governance for high-profile regional data center projects, ensuring strict compliance and cost-effectiveness. In this critical role, you will oversee supplier relationships, ensure the seamless delivery of infrastructure, and drive extensive cross-functional engagement with PMO, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Operations teams to influence key business outcomes on large-scale CAPEX initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement regional procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, while establishing robust governance frameworks, policies, and standardization to ensure strict compliance and continuous improvement.
• Lead sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and commercial planning for large-scale capital expenditure projects, covering critical infrastructure, equipment, technology solutions, and professional services.
• Conduct high-level commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract awards to optimize costs without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
• Build long-term relationships with strategic partners and manage contracts effectively, overseeing performance monitoring to maintain high service levels and resolve escalations across various project sites.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—from PMO to engineering—to align purchasing schedules with project timelines and operational needs.
• Proactively identify supply chain and commercial risks to develop mitigation strategies, monitor KPIs and purchasing metrics, and deliver insightful executive reports to senior management.

What you bring:

• 12–15 years of experience in procurement and sourcing roles (with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity), featuring a background in strategic sourcing for large-scale infrastructure or technology projects like data centers or major construction initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and advanced negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, alongside a proven track record in contract management, renewals, dispute resolution, and performance improvement.
• Proven ability to manage regional or multinational operations and navigate diverse stakeholder environments, building strong relationships across PMO, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.
• Adept at proactively identifying supply chain and procurement risks, developing mitigation strategies, and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards and audit readiness.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for global vendor and internal engagement, paired with a supportive, inclusive leadership style that fosters knowledge sharing and team development.
