Smart Automation Delivery Lead

A leading organisation in Bangkok is seeking a Smart Automation Delivery Lead to oversee the execution and governance of their automation portfolio. You will collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, business analysts, vendors, and stakeholders to translate business demand into actionable delivery commitments.

What you'll do:
• Coordinate project estimates with engineering teams and vendors to establish realistic delivery timelines, resource requirements, and funding needs for each initiative.
• Own the integrated RPA & AI delivery roadmap, release calendar, and resource allocation over 10 concurrent projects to ensure optimal utilisation of resources
• Establish and enforce robust delivery methodologies, stage gates, quality standards, business acceptance criteria, and reporting cadence to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify cross-project dependencies proactively, mitigate risks effectively, resolve delivery issues promptly, and lead recovery plans for at-risk projects to safeguard successful outcomes.
• Monitor delivery expenditure closely by forecasting budget variances and managing vendor performance as well as procurement and contract commitments.
• Track key performance indicators such as milestone predictability, estimation accuracy, and resource utilisation to drive transparency and accountability across all projects.
• Align business and technical stakeholders on scope definition, prerequisites identification, priority setting, and delivery commitments to foster shared understanding.
• Lead and develop Project Managers and Delivery Business Analysts while coordinating 20–25 vendor delivery FTEs to build a dependable network of professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices by implementing feedback loops and best practices across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure adaptability in project execution.

What you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field is required for this role.
• Proven experience in IT delivery management or portfolio governance with responsibility for multiple concurrent automation or technology projects is essential.
• Expertise in delivery planning including project estimation, capacity planning, resource allocation, and financial control is highly desirable.
• Experience establishing robust delivery governance frameworks while managing cross-project dependencies as well as overseeing risks and escalations is important.
• Demonstrated proficiency in vendor management including contract governance, budget monitoring, procurement oversight, and performance reporting is expected.
• Strong leadership skills combined with stakeholder management abilities that enable you to manage competing priorities effectively while driving accountability are necessary.
• Excellent analytical skills paired with organisational acumen allow you to solve problems efficiently while making considerate decisions.
• Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies within multicultural environments enhances your adaptability.
• Fluency in English is mandatory for effective communication across global teams.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe would be advantageous but not required.
