Global Cybersecurity Manager

Our client is looking for a Global Cybersecurity Manager to lead security operations and enhance their cybersecurity capabilities across global environments. This role will be responsible for managing incidents, improving security frameworks, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor, representing the organization in both internal and external engagements.
• Proactively track global threat landscapes, emerging risks, and evolving best practices to strengthen security posture.
• Drive day-to-day security operations aligned with nternal governance standards and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents, ensuring rapid detection and resolution.
• Lead end-to-end incident response, including investigation, containment, eradication, and post-incident improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional and regional teams to embed security into infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
• Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
• Translate complex security risks into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Make critical decisions under pressure to minimize risk and business disruption.
• Continuously improve security tools, AI-driven security tools, automation, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and resilience.

Key Qualifications
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, or security engineering.
• Proven experience working with diverse stakeholders in regional or global environments.
• Strong understanding of industry frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, and/or NIST.
• Practical expertise across key security domains, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), SOC/CSOC operations, SIEM & EDR platforms, Vulnerability management & penetration testing, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Zero Trust architectures
• Experience designing or delivering security awareness and phishing simulation programs.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, CompTIA Security+, CySA+) are a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills in English
