Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead technical strategy, engineering delivery, and enterprise AI integration. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer-facing leadership, focusing on delivering scalable AI-powered solutions that address complex enterprise requirements.

The successful candidate will bring strong enterprise technology experience, a deep understanding of AI integration, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing technical team while working closely with clients and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with enterprise clients, including solution demonstrations, architecture design, and security considerations.

• Oversee engineering delivery, contribute to technical development where required, and establish standards for software quality, scalability, and reliability.

• Build and lead a local technical team across engineering, solution architecture, integration, and technical pre-sales.

• Drive enterprise AI implementations from requirements gathering and solution design through system integration, deployment, and production readiness.

• Ensure AI-powered solutions meet enterprise requirements for accuracy, reliability, security, and operational performance.

• Collaborate with product teams to adapt AI solutions to local market requirements and customer workflows.

• Act as a senior technical advisor to clients, managing technical escalations and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

• Work with regional and global teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Manage implementation roadmaps, technical dependencies, delivery risks, and project priorities.

• Foster an engineering culture that encourages accountability, knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade solutions.

• Proven experience leading enterprise-level technology initiatives, with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture, complex system environments, and large-scale technology implementations.

• Strong knowledge of AI integration, including integrating AI models or AI-powered solutions into enterprise systems, applications, and business workflows.

• Experience taking AI solutions from proof of concept through production deployment is highly desirable.

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar positions.

• Demonstrated ability to bridge software engineering, solution design, and business requirements.

• Previous experience in a senior technical leadership role, such as Director, VP, CTO, or Founder, with responsibility for leading or developing technical teams.

• Experience building teams, processes, or technical capabilities in a growing organisation or new business environment.

• Experience working with enterprise clients in complex or regulated industries, such as banking, telecommunications, healthcare, utilities, retail, or insurance, is an advantage.

• Excellent English communication skills and fluency in a relevant local language.

• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.

• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic direction, engineering execution, and customer needs.
