Senior IT Country Lead

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Senior IT Country Lead to champion digital transformation and technology operations across their manufacturing sites in Thailand. You will be at the heart of strategic technology partnerships, collaborating with regional and global teams to implement best practices, cybersecurity standards, and innovative solutions that directly support business objectives.

What you'll do:
• Lead Digital Technology strategy, operations, and service delivery across all manufacturing sites in Thailand by aligning with both business priorities and regional or global technology directives.
• Own the reliability, availability, performance, and cybersecurity of factory environments to ensure uninterrupted production continuity throughout all facilities.
• Drive the adoption and optimisation of SCADA MES, SAP ERP, analytics platforms, automation tools, and Smart Factory technologies to enhance manufacturing outcomes.
• Champion digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing business cases, implementing solutions, fostering adoption among stakeholders, and scaling successful projects.
• Integrate manufacturing systems with enterprise applications and automation processes to improve process efficiency as well as operational visibility across the organisation.
• Promote data-driven decision-making by developing manufacturing analytics dashboards, KPIs, reporting solutions that empower plant leadership with actionable insights.
• Lead cross-functional technology projects and programmes by ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timeline, budget constraints, risk management protocols, and desired business outcomes.
• Manage relationships with local technology vendors, service providers, system integrators to guarantee service quality while maintaining cost effectiveness and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate effectively with regional and global Digital Technology teams to implement technology standards, cybersecurity requirements, solutions deployment strategies, and best practices throughout Thailand.

What you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field is required for this position.
• At least 10 years’ experience in IT or Digital Technology roles within manufacturing environments is essential.
• Proven track record supporting factory operations through advanced IT/OT environments including SCADA MES systems.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies such as SAP ERP combined with hands-on experience in automation tools is highly valued.
• Experience leading digital transformation projects or Industry 4.0 initiatives within a manufacturing context is crucial for success.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional technology projects from inception through delivery while achieving business results.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills especially when engaging plant leadership or business functions are necessary.
• Experience managing local vendors service providers system integrators for optimal service quality cost effectiveness compliance is important.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with regional/global Digital Technology teams on standards implementation solution deployment cybersecurity best practices.
