IT Enterprise Applications Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Applications Manager to lead the organization's enterprise application portfolio and drive digital transformation. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the SAP S/4HANA migration project, from strategy and implementation to post-go-live support, while ensuring SAP and non-SAP applications align with business objectives and deliver operational excellence.

What you'll do:

• Lead the strategic planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications to ensure they effectively support current and future business requirements.
• Oversee the entire enterprise application portfolio—including SAP S/4HANA and other mission-critical systems—by maintaining system availability, optimising performance, and upholding service quality standards.
• Act as Project Manager for SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined quality benchmarks.
• Drive end-to-end execution of large-scale enterprise application projects such as ERP implementations, digital transformation initiatives, system upgrades, integrations, and process optimisation efforts.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Supervise application development activities including system enhancements, rigorous testing protocols, deployment processes, and comprehensive post-implementation support measures.
• Establish clear application support processes and monitor service levels while championing continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence across all platforms.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, system integrators, and technology partners to ensure successful project delivery as well as reliable ongoing support services.
• Ensure effective governance by implementing change management procedures, risk mitigation strategies, compliance controls, and best practices throughout the enterprise application landscape.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing enterprise applications team by fostering collaboration, accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

What you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related discipline is required for this position.
• At least eight years’ proven experience in enterprise application management or ERP systems delivery is essential—including previous leadership responsibilities within similar environments.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration project as Project Manager is mandatory for consideration.
• Comprehensive experience managing both SAP S/4HANA platforms as well as non-SAP enterprise systems is highly desirable for this role.
• In-depth understanding of ERP implementation methodologies encompassing system integration techniques, testing protocols, deployment strategies and change management processes is expected.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple business stakeholders alongside third-party vendors is vital for delivering successful outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with colleagues at all levels while facilitating open communication channels are important assets.
• Strong analytical thinking combined with problem-solving abilities allows you to address complex challenges efficiently while remaining sensitive to user needs.
• Experience developing high-performing teams through coaching initiatives that foster collaboration and continuous learning is highly valued here.
