What you'll do:
• Lead, mentor, and develop application developers and automation specialists by establishing technical standards, development methodologies, and governance frameworks that promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Manage team workload, project priorities, resource allocation, technical reviews, and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained throughout all development activities.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications and software solutions by translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions that meet performance, security, and reliability needs.
• Oversee software development lifecycle activities including architecture design, coding standards implementation, testing procedures, release management processes, and application enhancement initiatives.
• Identify automation opportunities across business functions by assessing workflows for optimisation potential; design and implement robotic process automation (RPA) as well as business process automation solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to streamline processes for improved operational efficiency while monitoring automation performance to drive ongoing optimisation initiatives.
• Establish automation governance frameworks by setting standards and best practices for workflow design; ensure compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Design integration architectures between enterprise applications, ERP systems, cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure), databases, middleware solutions, APIs, and third-party services to ensure data accuracy and system interoperability.
• Lead application support activities including troubleshooting production issues; develop contingency plans for business continuity; monitor application performance to implement proactive improvements.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering solution architecture, integration strategies, operational procedures; provide regular reporting on project progress risks resource utilisation operational performance.

What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering Computer Engineering or related discipline is required for this position.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in software development enterprise applications automation technologies or system integration demonstrating dependable technical proficiency.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership or team management role showing commitment to mentoring developing others within a collaborative environment.
• Proven expertise in application development using technologies such as Java C# Python JavaScript .NET SQL ABAP or similar platforms with strong understanding of software architecture APIs integration frameworks enterprise application design.
• Experience with workflow automation RPA low-code/no-code platforms or process automation technologies reflecting sensitivity to business needs for efficiency.
• Experience with SAP environments enterprise business process integration automation platforms such as UiPath Microsoft Power Platform Automation Anywhere relevant certifications Agile Scrum hybrid project delivery frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform plus knowledge of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines modern software delivery methodologies indicating adaptability continuous learning mindset.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles secure application development practices ensuring compliance with audit regulatory requirements.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems ERP platforms third-party applications demonstrating interdependent approach to technology management.
