What you'll do:

As Head of Retail Operations, you will be responsible for orchestrating seamless day-to-day activities across an expansive network of stores. Your role will involve collaborating with area managers and branch managers to ensure every location operates efficiently while maintaining high standards. You will be instrumental in developing procedures that foster compliance and prevent fraud, using your analytical skills to interpret operational data for better stock management. By supporting expansion plans and preparing teams for new store launches, you will help shape the future growth trajectory of the business. Success in this position requires a commitment to nurturing staff development through training opportunities and knowledge sharing. You will also play a key part in reporting operational outcomes to senior leaders abroad, influencing strategic decisions that impact thousands of employees. • Oversee daily operations across more than 1,500 retail stores throughout Thailand, ensuring consistent standards and optimal performance.
• Develop, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance across all locations.
• Lead audit processes and establish robust fraud prevention measures to safeguard assets and uphold corporate integrity.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, optimise stock management, and support informed decision-making for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Area Business Managers (ABMs) and Branch Managers (BMs) to nurture teamwork and ensure smooth store operations.
• Foster a nurturing environment for approximately 12,000 staff members by promoting training opportunities and encouraging knowledge sharing.
• Report regularly on operational performance to senior executives in Malaysia and Thailand, providing insights that influence strategic direction.
• Champion inclusive practices within standalone stores (80%) as well as mall-based locations (20%), adapting approaches to suit different environments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by engaging with cross-functional teams to address challenges and share best practices.
