What you'll do:

As a Category Manager Fresh Food based in Bangkok, you will be entrusted with overseeing every aspect of your assigned product categories from supplier negotiations through to final product selection. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with both external partners and internal teams as you work to build an appealing assortment tailored to customer needs.

• Negotiate all purchasing conditions including prices, payment terms, minimum order quantities, and other relevant contractual details with suppliers to secure optimal agreements for the business.
• Build and maintain an assortment of fresh food products that aligns with customer expectations and company principles, regularly reviewing items to suggest additions or removals as needed.
• Source reliable manufacturers for the production of private label products across all stock keeping units (SKUs), ensuring efficiency in production, purchasing, transportation, and administration.
• Conduct regular quality assessments such as laboratory tests and tastings within the company to guarantee that all products in your category meet stringent quality benchmarks before being introduced into the assortment.
• Monitor supplier performance closely to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality goods while fostering long-term cooperative relationships built on trust and mutual benefit.
