What you'll do:

As a Global Sourcing Manager Food based in Bangkok, you will play an instrumental role in driving the company’s international procurement activities for food products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing robust sourcing strategies that align with organisational goals while ensuring product quality and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate extensively with overseas grocery retailers as well as internal stakeholders such as quality assurance teams and logistics experts. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of private label dynamics within the food industry along with a commitment to responsible sourcing practices.

• Develop and implement comprehensive global sourcing strategies for food products, focusing on packaged foods, canned goods, and beverages to meet business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with overseas grocery retailers and suppliers to ensure consistent supply of high-quality products at competitive prices.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with international vendors while maintaining ethical standards and fostering long-term collaborative relationships.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and emerging risks to proactively address challenges in the global supply chain.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, logistics, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless integration of sourced products into the business portfolio.
• Lead initiatives related to private label development by identifying new product opportunities and supporting innovation in line with consumer preferences.

What you bring:

To excel as a Global Sourcing Manager Food you will bring substantial experience from similar roles where you have managed end-to-end procurement processes for food products on an international scale. Your background should include hands-on involvement with private label initiatives—ideally covering everything from concept development through supplier onboarding to final delivery. In addition to technical expertise around contract negotiation or compliance matters you should possess outstanding interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration both externally (with suppliers) and internally (across departments).

• Demonstrated experience in global sourcing within the food industry encompassing packaged foods, canned goods, or beverages gained from working with international suppliers or retailers.
• Proven track record managing private label programmes including product development, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and launch execution.
• Fluent in English
