Business Development Manager - Food (FMCG) Location: Bangkok, Thailand Salary: Competitive + Performance Bonus
Our client is one of Thailand's leading food manufacturers and innovators, developing value-added food ingredients and consumer products with a strong focus on sustainability, plant-based innovation, and international growth. As the business continues to expand globally, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new business opportunities across both Thailand and overseas markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sustainable business growth across domestic and international markets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.
- Expand both existing and new product portfolios into retail, food service, and international markets.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer trend analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to successfully commercialise new products.
- Lead new product and market launch projects from concept through execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, trading partners, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance, market developments, and business opportunities to recommend strategic actions.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, customer meetings, and international business events.
- Support senior management in long-term commercial strategy and business expansion initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or related fields.
- At least 5-8 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, Export Sales, or Commercial roles within Food, FMCG, Food Ingredients, Beverage, or Consumer Goods.
- Strong experience in developing new markets, distributors, and strategic partnerships.
- Experience in both domestic and international business development is highly preferred.
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop growth strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally when required.
