What you'll do:

As a Senior Commercial Manager – Attractions based in Bangkok, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the commercial direction of one of the city’s most popular destinations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing multiple revenue-generating departments—ranging from retail shops to food outlets—while ensuring every aspect of the guest journey is optimised for satisfaction. You will collaborate with various internal teams to identify new business opportunities and implement strategic initiatives that drive both short-term gains and long-term sustainability. Success in this role requires not only strong analytical skills but also an empathetic approach to team leadership; your ability to nurture talent and foster interdepartmental cooperation will be key. By leveraging your deep understanding of financial management alongside your passion for delivering memorable experiences, you will help set new benchmarks for excellence within the attractions industry.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies designed to maximise revenue growth across all attraction-based operations including retail outlets, food and beverage venues, and guest experience offerings.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of the retail, food and beverage, and experience portfolio to ensure optimal product mix, pricing strategies, and merchandising standards that enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and incremental revenue streams by collaborating closely with marketing, finance, operations, HR, and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Monitor commercial performance through detailed financial analysis, reporting on key metrics such as profitability, cost control, sales trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver seamless guest experiences while nurturing a culture of supportiveness, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within the workplace.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at improving operational processes related to merchandising, product launches, promotions, and service delivery to exceed guest expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop training programmes that empower team members with the skills needed for success in fast-paced environments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies as well as local regulations regarding health, safety, security (HSS), and quality standards across all commercial activities.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on commercial performance while recommending actionable insights for future growth.
  • Champion best practices in customer service by fostering an environment where feedback is valued and used constructively to enhance overall guest experience.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in commercial management within attractions, tourism, hospitality or leisure industries is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple revenue streams such as retail operations, food and beverage services, as well as experiential offerings is required.
  • A proven history of delivering sustained revenue growth while improving overall commercial performance through effective financial oversight is highly valued.
  • Experience leading diverse teams within fast-paced environments where guest interaction is central to daily operations is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively across functions including marketing, finance, operations, HR, and technical support are important.
  • Excellent analytical abilities enabling you to interpret complex data sets into actionable business insights are expected.
  • A background in developing training programmes or mentoring staff towards achieving shared goals would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements relating to health & safety standards within public-facing venues is beneficial.
