What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager Chinese OEM based in Bangkok, you will be entrusted with managing some of the most important client relationships within the automotive sector.

  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with Chinese Original Equipment Manufacturer clients to ensure their evolving needs are consistently met through attentive account management.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and design innovative solutions specifically tailored for Chinese OEMs operating in Thailand.
  • Communicate fluently in Mandarin and English with clients to negotiate contracts, manage expectations effectively, and resolve any issues that may arise during the partnership lifecycle.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams across Thailand and the wider region to create marketing strategies that align with both cultural nuances and business objectives of Chinese OEMs.
  • Monitor industry trends as well as competitor activities to provide timely insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and prevailing market conditions to keep stakeholders updated on progress and opportunities.
  • Ensure all client interactions reflect a deep understanding of Chinese business etiquette while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns by providing valuable input based on direct client feedback and market intelligence.
  • Participate actively in internal meetings to share best practices, contribute ideas for continuous improvement, and foster a sense of teamwork among colleagues.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events or client meetings as required, always upholding the company’s reputation for excellence.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field demonstrating your academic foundation for this role.
