What you'll do:

As an Airline Sales Manager based in Bangkok, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial success of your assigned portfolio. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing bespoke account plans for each client segment—ranging from established travel agencies to dynamic corporate accounts—ensuring that every interaction adds value and strengthens long-term relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new revenue streams by staying attuned to market shifts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless service experiences. Your ability to present compelling proposals will set you apart as you nurture trust with clients at all levels. By leveraging your analytical skills alongside your interpersonal strengths, you will help drive sustainable growth for both your clients and the organisation.

  • Manage a designated portfolio of mid to large airline, Travel Management Companies, and corporate clients to drive revenue growth and improve overall profitability through effective sales strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account plans tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and market trends.
  • Deliver engaging client-facing presentations that clearly communicate value propositions, new products, and partnership opportunities to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Cultivate strong business partnerships by maintaining regular contact with key decision-makers, understanding their requirements, and providing solutions that foster mutual success.
  • Monitor market developments and competitor activities within the assigned territory to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of services and consistent client satisfaction.
  • Provide timely reports on sales performance, account status, pipeline activity, and market insights using key business applications such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Salesforce.
  • Travel within the assigned territory (approximately 10% of the time) as well as occasionally to other destinations for internal meetings or customer engagements as required.
  • Support the efficient functioning of the work unit by performing additional duties as assigned by management in line with organisational goals.

  • Comprehensive understanding of airline or travel industry sales processes coupled with proven results in account management or business development roles.
  • Proficiency in essential business computer applications including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Salesforce for effective reporting and presentation creation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai enabling clear dialogue with diverse stakeholders across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging client-facing presentations that resonate with audiences at all organisational levels.
