What you'll do:

• Oversee the end-to-end process for importing and exporting goods, ensuring timely delivery across diverse international markets while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive documentation in strict accordance with customs regulations and applicable trade laws to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to facilitate smooth shipment execution and effective customs clearance procedures.
• Act as a key liaison between internal teams to address trade-related needs, fostering co-operation and clear communication across departments.
• Monitor shipment status proactively to identify potential risks or delays, implementing solutions that mitigate issues efficiently and responsively.
• Support customs audits and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate trade records in line with regulatory requirements, demonstrating attention to detail and reliability.
• Analyse current trade processes regularly to recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring ongoing compliance with evolving regulations.
• Stay updated on global trade regulations by researching changes and implementing necessary adjustments to company policies or procedures as required.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Import/Export Operations, Customs Compliance, International Trade or Logistics is essential for this role.

• Comprehensive knowledge of global trade regulations, customs requirements, and cross-border shipment processes is required to ensure compliance.
• Proven track record managing import/export documentation as well as working collaboratively with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across different regions.
• A global mindset demonstrated through experience supporting international operations within diverse environments.
• Interest in leveraging technology and digital tools for process improvement initiatives is considered advantageous for this position.
