What you'll do:
- Develop comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and facilitate sustainable growth across all functions including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
- Lead the demand planning and supply planning processes to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal stock levels that meet customer needs without excess or shortages.
- Manage inventory control for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods by implementing effective systems that minimise waste and maintain product quality throughout its lifecycle.
- Oversee procurement activities by establishing strong supplier relationships, negotiating favourable terms, and ensuring consistent supply of high-quality materials at competitive costs.
- Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatching, and transportation of goods to guarantee timely deliveries with maximum accuracy and safety.
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain such as material shortages or logistical disruptions; develop contingency plans to mitigate impact on production and delivery schedules.
- Enhance supply chain information systems by improving data reporting processes that support executive decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster the development of supply chain personnel by clarifying roles, providing guidance, supporting succession planning, and preparing teams for future organisational growth.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, production, quality assurance, finance, branch management, suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and smooth communication across all touchpoints.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information such as purchasing prices, supplier terms, stock forecasts, cost structures, backup supplier details, and business risk assessments.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field provides a solid academic foundation for this role.
- Professional certifications such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement (CPIM/CSCP), or ERP/SAP are highly regarded as they demonstrate specialised knowledge.
- At least 10 years’ experience in supply chain management or related areas such as procurement, warehousing or logistics equips you with practical insights into industry best practices.
- Proven track record in senior management roles within food manufacturing or FMCG sectors highlights your familiarity with high-turnover environments requiring rapid response to changing demands.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams within SCM showcases your ability to nurture talent across diverse disciplines while promoting interdependent teamwork.
- Comprehensive understanding of demand planning methodologies enables you to forecast accurately based on promotional cycles or seasonal fluctuations.

- Strong analytical abilities support systematic problem-solving when addressing operational challenges or evaluating cost structures within logistics networks.
