What you'll do:
As a Supply Chain Planner at in Bangkok, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the flow of goods across APAC markets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing complex demand and supply planning processes using advanced forecasting techniques. - Manage demand and supply planning for APAC countries by analysing forecasts, order books, customer backlogs, and monitoring stock levels as well as obsolescence risks to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure the best availability of kits for customers by coordinating procurement activities across various product lines in alignment with market demands.
- Build and maintain dependable relationships with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and support organisational success.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning sales forecasts with operational capabilities and collaborating closely with sales, factories, and logistics teams to achieve optimal balance.
- Analyse inventory levels proactively to identify potential obsolescence issues and implement corrective actions that optimise stock management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain activities by managing projects that enhance operational processes and efficiencies in accordance with business objectives.
- Contribute significantly to new product line launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and alignment throughout the supply chain.
- Engage regularly with external functions such as Sales, Logistics, Product Line, Purchasing, IT, Suppliers to foster co-operation and support VA organisational success.
- Act as the primary contact window for the sales team, facilitating effective communication between departments.
