What you'll do:

As Head of Procurement based in Chonburi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s sourcing strategy across diverse categories. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, developing robust supplier networks that align with business priorities, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

• Oversee the strategic sourcing process for all procurement categories, including mechanical, electrical, professional services, capital expenditure (CAPEX), and maintenance repair operations (MRO), ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives that deliver measurable value while maintaining quality standards across the supply chain.
• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with suppliers to foster trust, reliability, and long-term partnerships that benefit both parties.
• Champion localisation efforts by identifying local suppliers and integrating them into the procurement ecosystem to enhance responsiveness and reduce lead times.
• Guide and support team members by setting clear objectives, providing mentorship, and encouraging continuous improvement in performance.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for Head of Procurement brings extensive experience managing sourcing activities across direct and indirect categories within regional contexts.

• 10-15 years’ proven experience in sourcing and procurement roles within large-scale organisations or manufacturing environments.
• Regional procurement expertise that demonstrates your ability to manage complex supply chains across multiple geographies.
• A degree in engineering or related discipline is highly advantageous as it enables deeper understanding of technical requirements during sourcing processes.
• Exceptional negotiation skills combined with a collaborative approach that builds trust among suppliers and internal stakeholders alike.
• Strong interpersonal abilities allowing you to connect effectively with colleagues from various departments as well as external partners.
• Experience leading teams by providing guidance, support, and encouragement to achieve collective targets.
