• Supervise the development and growth of the Air Freight Export and Import team by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Oversee all departmental functions related to export and import operations, recommending process enhancements that improve efficiency and service quality.
• Provide direction and ensure that operational service commitments are consistently met through dependable leadership and clear communication.
• Implement standard business processes across the department, leveraging technology enhancements to deliver value-based operational services.
• Manage relationships with country-level operations management to guarantee service delivery commitments are fulfilled and value expectations exceeded.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements within the scope of service delivery, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by championing change management capabilities within the department’s service delivery scope.
• Partner with global process owners and country operations management to identify opportunities for improvement in outsourced projects, sharing best practices across teams.
