Key Responsibilities

• Optimise transportation routes for all shipment types and manage import/export flows for raw materials and finished goods to meet delivery timelines.
• Supervise the movement, distribution, and storage of materials to maintain optimal inventory levels and fulfil KPI-tracked customer orders.
• Build and monitor regional logistics budgets, track monthly expenses with finance teams, and lead annual bidding and contract negotiations to drive cost savings.
• Ensure strict adherence to local, national, and international trade/customs regulations, update procedures, and resolve compliance issues.
• Evaluate modes, carriers, product placement, and sequencing to reduce freight costs and improve overall service quality.

• Direct relationships with global 3PLs, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and cross-border/local carriers.
• Represent the department in meetings and collaborate across the supply chain group to solve operational challenges and report KPI data.
• Direct daily task prioritisation for specialists and analysts, train new staff on regulations and programs, and present updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, including hands-on management of import/export flows, transportation networks, distribution centres, and warehouse solutions design across Asia.
• Deep understanding of Asian customs regulations, BOI privileges, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Incoterms, and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status.
• Demonstrated ability to manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs), road transport logistics, warehouse operations, and direct customer delivery processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities for route, carrier, and placement optimization, along with proficiency in standard logistics software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills for interacting in multicultural settings up to director-level management.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management, self-motivation, and the organizational ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects both independently and collaboratively.
