Head of Sales (Shipping/Logistics)

Head of Sales | Global Shipping & Logistics | Bangkok Location: Bangkok, Thailand Salary: Competitive + Performance Bonus

Our client is a leading global shipping line seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead the commercial team in Thailand. This role will be responsible for driving the overall sales strategy, leading a high-performing sales team, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving sustainable business growth across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the country sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Thailand sales team to maximise performance.
• Drive business development and strengthen relationships with key customers.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and forecasting to ensure targets are achieved.
• Identify market opportunities and respond proactively to industry trends.
• Collaborate closely with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and commercial excellence.
• Represent the company at key customer meetings and industry events.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of sales experience with at least 3–5 years in a people leadership role.
• Strong experience within container shipping, shipping lines, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading successful commercial teams.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage.
• Fluent in Thai and English.
