What you'll do:

As a Market Access Manager – Medical Device based in Bangkok, you will play an instrumental role in shaping how innovative medical technologies reach patients across Thailand. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and public affairs strategies. You will engage regularly with government officials, regulatory authorities, and industry leaders to advocate for policies that facilitate market entry while upholding compliance standards. Your ability to interpret policy shifts quickly will enable you to provide timely guidance to senior management.   • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key government entities such as the Ministry of Public Health, Thai Food and Drug Administration, and National Health Security Office to advocate for favourable regulatory conditions.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on changes in healthcare policies, including regulations affecting medical devices, market access trends, local production requirements, and health budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to navigate complex public procurement processes while ensuring compliance with local preference policies.
  • Represent the organisation at industry associations like THAIMED and participate actively in forums and events to promote leadership in medical education and digital health transformation.
  • Lead the design and implementation of CSR and sustainability programmes aimed at improving healthcare accessibility for underserved communities as well as promoting wellness initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding policy developments, stakeholder feedback, and strategic recommendations for market access improvement.

What you bring:

To excel as a Market Access Manager – Medical Device you will bring extensive experience from either the public sector or healthcare industry where you have developed expertise in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy. Your educational background equips you with analytical skills necessary for interpreting complex regulations while your interpersonal abilities allow you to connect meaningfully with both internal colleagues and external partners. You are comfortable operating within multicultural environments thanks to your language proficiency and cultural sensitivity.   • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Policy, Political Science, International Affairs, Bio-engineering, Public Health, Economics or related discipline is required for this position.
  • At least eight years’ experience working within the public sector or healthcare industry—particularly in roles involving policy research or public/government affairs—is essential.
  • A deep understanding of Thailand’s healthcare regulatory environment—including familiarity with government structures, relevant frameworks, and key decision-makers—is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote digital transformation initiatives within hospital settings or similar environments is highly valued.
  • Exceptional communication skills are needed; you should be adept at negotiation as well as building rapport with diverse stakeholders across multiple levels of authority.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively across functions is important for success here.
  • Native-level fluency in Thai combined with professional proficiency in English is required; adaptability to multicultural contexts is also crucial.
  • Experience representing organisations at industry associations or participating in sector-wide forums will be advantageous.
