A leading organisation in Bangkok is seeking a Corporate Communications and Public Relations Assistant Manager to join their team. What you'll do:

As a Corporate Communications and Public Relations Assistant Manager based in Bangkok, you will immerse yourself in a multifaceted role that spans corporate communications strategy development through to hands-on execution across public relations and social media management. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with internal marketing teams as well as external partners such as brand principals and creative agencies. You will craft impactful communication materials—ranging from press releases to executive messages—and support major business initiatives including events and boutique openings. Building strong relationships with media professionals is central to your success; you’ll proactively engage them with relevant stories while managing enquiries efficiently. Social media management forms another key aspect of your role: you’ll curate content calendars for various platforms ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand standards.

  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive corporate communications and public relations strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Create press releases, executive messages, talking points, company profiles, media briefs, and other communication materials to enhance corporate visibility.
  • Identify relevant stories within the industry that can strengthen the company’s reputation and positioning while supporting communications for key initiatives such as exhibitions, events, partnerships, boutique openings, milestones, and more.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, tone of voice, and brand positioning across all external communications by monitoring industry developments and identifying communication opportunities or potential reputational issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key media contacts including editors, journalists, and relevant industry stakeholders; regularly update media databases and proactively engage media with relevant stories.
  • Manage media enquiries by coordinating interview requests, information sharing, images distribution, press previews, media events, interviews, press trips, and other engagement activities; follow up after press activities to encourage quality coverage.
  • Monitor and evaluate media coverage by preparing regular PR reports; collaborate with PR agencies and external partners to ensure effective execution of campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee the management of corporate social media channels by developing content calendars across platforms; coordinate social media content relating to corporate activities such as product launches, events, exhibitions, retail activities, milestones.
  • Ensure all social media content is accurate and engaging while aligning with brand guidelines; monitor community engagement on social platforms to identify opportunities for audience interaction.
  • Develop written content for social media channels, websites, newsletters, event communications; translate brand information into engaging stories relevant to clients and wider audiences; coordinate photography/videography/interviews/content production with internal teams/agencies/external suppliers.

What you bring:

To excel as a Corporate Communications and Public Relations Assistant Manager in Bangkok you will bring proven expertise from previous roles within corporate communications or public relations—ideally gained in luxury or premium consumer sectors such as fashion or hospitality.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Media or related field is required for this position.
  • Approximately 6-8 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations within luxury/lifestyle/fashion/hospitality/watches/jewellery/premium consumer brands is highly desirable.
  • Established relationships with lifestyle/business/luxury/watch media would be advantageous for building effective networks.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms combined with experience in content planning/digital communication is essential.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in both Thai & English are necessary for clear messaging across channels.
  • Strong copywriting/editing/storytelling capabilities allow you to create engaging narratives that resonate with target audiences.
