What you'll do:

As Head of Communication – Retail based in Bangkok, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the brand is perceived both internally and externally. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing robust strategies that amplify brand messaging across multiple platforms while working hand-in-hand with various departments to ensure seamless execution. You will be responsible for nurturing vital media relationships that result in high-impact coverage as well as overseeing all aspects of content creation—from press releases to executive statements—ensuring every piece reflects the brand’s core values. By orchestrating memorable press events and influencer activations alongside managing budgets and agency partnerships effectively, you will help drive measurable results. Success in this role means delivering integrated campaigns that not only boost visibility but also foster meaningful connections with customers while cultivating a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement.

  • Develop and drive the overall brand communication strategy with a strong focus on public relations, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and business objectives.
  • Design and implement comprehensive PR strategies across key product categories such as skincare, fragrance, and makeup to maximise brand visibility and support commercial goals.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key media partners, editors, and industry stakeholders across print, digital, broadcast, and social platforms to secure impactful coverage.
  • Oversee the creation of press materials, executive messaging, communication assets, and social content to ensure consistency and relevance across all channels.
  • Plan and execute press events, product launches, media previews, KOL engagements, and influencer events to deliver exceptional brand experiences.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, CRM, Retail, Digital, and Commercial teams to develop integrated communication plans that enhance customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Influence Project Manager to shape influencer strategies by approving content direction and selecting strategic partners for cohesive campaigns.
  • Drive cross-category communication initiatives that maintain a balanced brand voice while leveraging synergies between different product lines.
  • Manage the communication budget efficiently while overseeing PR agencies and external vendors to ensure operational excellence and optimal ROI.
  • Establish clear KPIs for communications activities; monitor campaign performance; analyse media impact; present insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Communications team including PR Managers, Executives, Assistants, and Interns.
