A leading fashion retailer in Bangkok is seeking a Marketing Director (Fashion) to play a pivotal role in shaping and integrating marketing and communication strategies across multiple brands and entities. What you'll do:
As Marketing Director (Fashion), you will be responsible for orchestrating a wide range of marketing activities that span from digital engagement to traditional media outreach. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with headquarters to adapt global strategies for the local market, overseeing agency partnerships to ensure optimal performance, managing social media operations across multiple brands, developing annual marketing plans tailored to each entity’s needs, executing impactful campaigns across various channels, analysing competitor activity to stay ahead of market trends, leading public relations efforts by nurturing key relationships with media partners and influencers, acting as the primary spokesperson for media communications in Thailand.
- Coordinate with headquarters to implement and localise global social media strategies for all brands within the portfolio.
- Manage relationships with local media outlets and digital agencies to ensure consistent performance and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Oversee daily operations of social media platforms across all concepts, monitoring engagement metrics, community feedback, and emerging trends to optimise results.
- Develop annual marketing calendars for each brand and entity, planning comprehensive 360° campaigns that align with global direction as well as local objectives.
- Collaborate with headquarters for content approval processes including artwork editing and copy validation to maintain brand integrity.
- Analyse competitors’ media activities alongside market trends to inform ongoing marketing strategies.
- Lead public relations strategy for all concepts by building strong relationships with media partners, PR agencies, influencers, and planning press events or product launches.
- Act as the main contact point for media communications in Thailand while supporting regional efforts as needed.
- Consolidate campaign performance reports for all brands, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive commercial success.
What you bring:
To excel as Marketing Director (Fashion), your background should demonstrate substantial experience within the retail or fashion sector where you have successfully managed complex multi-brand portfolios. Your proven expertise in digital marketing—especially social media management—and agency coordination will allow you to drive impactful campaigns that resonate locally while aligning globally. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication or related field is required for this position.
- At least eight years of experience in marketing, communications or public relations within retail, lifestyle or fashion industries is essential.
- Regional exposure experience is a must.
- Demonstrated ability managing multi-brand marketing strategies across different entities is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in digital management including social media operations and agency coordination is necessary.
- Strong experience in public relations including building relationships with media partners, PR agencies and influencers is expected.
