A leading retail destination in Bangkok is seeking a Head of Marketing – Retail to shape and execute a comprehensive marketing vision across six key pillars: content, event marketing, co-campaigns with tenants, communication, KOL partnerships, and advertising. What you'll do:

As Head of Marketing – Retail, you will be at the forefront of shaping how this retail destination connects with its customers. Your day-to-day will involve designing integrated marketing plans that span content development, event execution, tenant partnerships, communication strategies, influencer collaborations, and multi-channel advertising. You will guide your team through each project phase—ensuring every campaign is delivered on time, within budget, and achieves its intended impact. Success in this role means not only driving visitor numbers but also fostering lasting relationships between the venue’s tenants and their customers. By leveraging your experience in 360-degree marketing for malls or community spaces alongside your proven ability to manage people and budgets effectively, you will help position the venue as a must-visit destination in Bangkok’s retail landscape.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across six core areas: content creation, event marketing, co-campaigns with tenants, communication initiatives, KOL partnerships, and advertising activities.
  • Lead and nurture a small team of 2-3 marketing professionals by providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure high performance and personal development.
  • Collaborate closely with tenants to design and execute joint campaigns that enhance footfall and create memorable experiences for visitors.
  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution within the venue to ensure alignment with brand objectives and maximise audience engagement.
  • Manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to amplify the venue’s presence across digital platforms and build authentic connections with target audiences.
  • Coordinate advertising efforts across multiple channels including digital media, print publications, outdoor signage, and social media platforms.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth while ensuring all campaigns remain relevant and effective.
  • Take responsibility for budget allocation across all marketing activities by tracking expenditures meticulously and optimising spend for maximum return on investment.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as operations teams and senior management to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness through data analysis and reporting while continuously refining strategies based on insights gained from performance metrics.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing holistic 360-degree marketing strategies specifically for shopping malls or community malls that encompass content creation, events, tenant collaborations, communications, KOL engagement, and advertising.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing small teams by nurturing talent through supportive leadership practices that encourage collaboration and professional growth.
  • Strong background in budget management including planning allocations across multiple projects while maintaining cost efficiency without compromising quality or impact.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build positive relationships with tenants as well as external partners such as influencers or media agencies.
  • Deep understanding of current market trends within the retail sector along with an ability to translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities allowing you to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail throughout each stage of campaign delivery.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English which enable you to craft compelling messages tailored for different channels or stakeholder groups.
  • Experience using analytics tools to measure campaign performance coupled with a willingness to adapt strategies based on data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
