What you'll do:

* Formulate and implement comprehensive data protection and privacy policies to ensure the organisation’s adherence to all pertinent data privacy laws and regulations.

* Provide thorough legal counsel regarding data privacy legislation to facilitate new product launches and strategic initiatives across the business.

* Conduct meticulous privacy impact assessments to integrate privacy requirements into business processes and daily operations.

* Evaluate potential non-compliance risks within business practices related to data privacy laws, offering clear guidance to mitigate risks and address gaps.

* Administer effective data mapping, access management, and data sharing policies to safeguard sensitive information throughout the organisation.

* Design and deliver informative training sessions and awareness activities to promote policy adherence and enhance understanding of privacy requirements among staff.

* Monitor internal processes and business operations diligently to maintain compliance with ISO 27001, 27701 standards as well as relevant laws in Thailand.

What you bring:

* 3-5 years of demonstrable experience at a law firm or as an in-house lawyer engaged in privacy and data protection projects is essential.

* Comprehensive knowledge of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) regulations specific to Thailand is indispensable for success.

* Ability to organise tasks efficiently while prioritising work within a dynamic environment so as to meet deadlines consistently.

* Exemplary verbal and written communication skills in English are vital for providing clear legal advice across departments.
