Associate (Litigation)

What you'll do:

* Oversee all facets of litigation cases from initiation through resolution, ensuring meticulous preparation and scrupulous attention to detail at every juncture.

* Draft, review, and submit court documents—including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other pertinent materials—in both Thai and English.

* Undertake exhaustive legal research to underpin case strategies, maintaining currency with developments in relevant statutes and regulations.

* Represent clients during court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement discussions under the supervision of senior practitioners.

* Coordinate with external experts such as witnesses or consultants when necessary to fortify case arguments.

* Preserve comprehensive records of case files, correspondence, evidence, and deadlines in accordance with established firm protocols.

What you bring:

* Possess no fewer than four years’ substantive experience managing litigation matters within law firms rather than corporate in-house environments.

* Exhibit demonstrable fluency in both written and spoken Thai as well as English; the ability to draft legal documents proficiently in both languages is indispensable.

* Have experience preparing for court appearances including drafting submissions, liaising with witnesses or experts, and presenting arguments before judicial or arbitral bodies.

* Possession of Chinese language skills is considered highly advantageous though not obligatory for this appointment.
