What you'll do:

* Establish and maintain the Internal Control Matrix for Thailand operations, focusing on segregation of duties and authorisation limits to ensure robust governance.

* Draft, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, Procurement, Logistics, and other departments to align workflows with HQ standards.

* Conduct periodic spot-checks on high-risk areas such as discount approvals, commission payments, marketing expenses, and procurement processes to detect potential financial leakage or non-compliance.

* Identify, map, and rank local risks—including financial, reputational, operational—specific to the Thai aesthetic medical device market through comprehensive risk assessments.

* Audit fleet land transport operations to mitigate risks such as cargo damage, theft, or breaches of Thai transport safety laws.

* Lead risk assessment initiatives for warehouse operations to ensure security and proper handling of sensitive energy-based devices within inventory control protocols.

* Execute internal audit cycles by investigating discrepancies in financial records or operational procedures and providing actionable remediation plans to management.

* Act as the first responder to any red flag activities by conducting internal investigations and recommending corrective actions directly to Global HQ.

* Prepare quarterly board reports summarising the health of the control environment for HQ leadership, highlighting key findings from audits and risk assessments.

* Collaborate closely with commercial teams to enforce rules while maintaining harmonious relationships that support organisational goals.

What you bring:

* Bachelor’s degree in Law is required for foundational knowledge relevant to internal controls and risk management.

* Professional certifications such as CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) are highly preferred for demonstrating advanced expertise.

* At least 7 years’ experience in Internal Control, Risk Management or Compliance within a multinational or high-growth environment is essential for understanding complex organisational structures.

* Strong familiarity with COSO Framework or ISO 31000 (Risk Management) is necessary for designing effective control matrices and risk mapping strategies.

* Expert ability to analyse complex data sets enables you to identify process gaps that could lead to financial leakage or operational inefficiencies.

* High emotional intelligence allows you to enforce rules sensitively while nurturing positive relationships with commercial teams across departments.

* Professional fluency in English is vital for clear communication with HQ leadership as well as local stakeholders.

* Exceptional organisational skills help you manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in audit execution.

* Advanced time management abilities ensure timely completion of quarterly board reports and remediation plans following internal investigations.

* Problem-solving skills empower you to respond quickly during crisis prevention scenarios or when addressing Red Flag activities.
