What you'll do:

• Provide clear and practical legal advice to foreign clients regarding the Foreign Business Act, Labour Act, and other relevant Thai laws and regulations.
• Guide clients through the process of company registration, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with local requirements.
• Design equity structures tailored to client needs while adhering to regulatory standards set by government departments such as the Board of Investment (BOI) and Industrial Estates Authority of Thailand (IEAT).
• Assist clients with FBL/FBC applications, ensuring all submissions meet statutory criteria and deadlines.
• Support clients in obtaining construction and operation permits by liaising with relevant authorities and preparing necessary legal documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or new business ventures to ensure full compliance with Thai law.
• Develop practical solutions for complex regulatory challenges faced by foreign investors entering or expanding within the Thai market.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation affecting foreign businesses operating in Thailand.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience advising on the Foreign Business Act, Labour Act, BOI regulations, IEAT policies, and other relevant Thai laws affecting foreign businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to manage FBL/FBC applications efficiently while ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.
• Expertise in securing construction and operation permits by preparing accurate documentation and engaging effectively with government authorities.
• Ability to develop practical solutions for challenging regulatory scenarios faced by foreign investors entering or expanding within Thailand.
• Up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes impacting foreign investment in Thailand coupled with a commitment to continuous professional development.
