HR Manager
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead the overall HR function for our fashion retail business, covering both Head Office and retail operations. The successful candidate will act as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior management, translating business priorities into effective people strategies while ensuring strong HR operations, employee engagement, talent management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Business Partnership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational growth plans.
- Partner with senior management and business leaders to provide strategic HR advice and people solutions.
- Lead organizational design, manpower planning, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to support business and people-related decisions.
- Translate regional/global HR policies into effective local practices where applicable.
HR Operations & Retail HR Management
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations across Head Office and retail/store locations.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and processes across the organization.
- Partner with retail management to address workforce, attendance, performance, employee relations, and people-related matters.
- Ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across Head Office and retail locations.
- Continuously improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead workforce planning and recruitment strategies in line with business expansion and manpower requirements.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for both corporate and retail positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Build talent pipelines and optimize sourcing channels for both retail and corporate talent.
- Monitor recruitment effectiveness, hiring trends, and manpower costs.
Compensation & Benefits / Payroll
- Oversee Compensation & Benefits, payroll, incentive programs, and sales commission schemes.
- Ensure compensation structures are competitive, internally equitable, and aligned with market requirements.
- Lead annual salary review, bonus, incentive, and benefits processes.
- Monitor manpower costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and Thai Labor Law.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Lead employee relations activities and provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and workplace matters.
- Ensure fair, consistent, and professional handling of employee relations issues.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational culture and employee experience.
- Monitor employee feedback and engagement results and translate insights into actionable HR initiatives.
- Support internal communication and culture-building activities.
Talent Development & Performance Management
- Partner with management to strengthen talent development and succession planning.
- Lead and support performance management processes across the organization.
- Identify critical talent and capability development needs in partnership with business leaders.
- Support leadership development and employee capability-building initiatives.
HR Transformation, HRIS & People Analytics
- Lead HR transformation, digitalization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive HRIS implementation, optimization, and data accuracy.
- Develop HR reports and people analytics to identify workforce trends and business insights.
- Provide data-driven analysis on headcount, turnover, manpower costs, recruitment, and employee-related metrics.
- Leverage HR data to support strategic workforce and business decisions.
HR Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with Thai Labor Law and relevant employment regulations.
- Maintain strong HR governance, internal controls, policies, and documentation.
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with company policies and regional/global standards.
- Support internal and external HR audits when required.
HR Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR team across key HR functions.
- Establish clear priorities, KPIs, and service standards for the HR function.
- Build a collaborative, high-performing HR team that effectively supports business objectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with experience at HR Manager or equivalent level.
- Experience in Fashion Retail, Retail, FMCG, or Consumer business; Fashion Retail experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong experience in HR Operations, HRBP, Talent Acquisition, C&B, Employee Relations, and Workforce Planning.
- Experience managing HR for multi-site / retail store operations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Thai Labor Law and HR practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with HRIS, HR transformation, and people analytics is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Hands-on, proactive, and commercially minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
