- Oversee all core Human Resource functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, retention strategies, performance management frameworks, compensation and benefits administration, learning and development initiatives, HR governance, payroll management, industrial relations, and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement effective people strategies that support business objectives while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and banking regulations.
- Drive talent acquisition efforts by designing robust recruitment processes to attract top-tier candidates who align with the organisation’s values and long-term vision.
- Lead the review and administration of compensation structures to maintain market competitiveness while supporting internal equity and cost sustainability.
- Implement performance management systems that facilitate clear goal setting, objective evaluation processes, and alignment between individual contributions and organisational strategy.
- Champion succession planning by identifying high-potential employees and developing structured leadership pipelines to ensure continuity in key positions across the bank.
- Manage industrial relations matters by fostering harmonious workplace relationships, addressing employee concerns promptly, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Collaborate on the design of internal talent pipelines through leadership development programmes aimed at building critical capabilities for future growth.
- Guide the planning, development, review, and implementation of HR policies and systems to promote operational efficiency while upholding governance standards.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on workforce planning, organisational design, talent sustainability initiatives, change management projects arising from digitalisation or restructuring efforts.
What you bring:
- Extensive experience leading human resource functions within large-scale organisations preferably within banking or financial services with proven success in developing people strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition methodologies including employer branding initiatives designed to attract diverse pools of high-quality candidates.
- Comprehensive knowledge of compensation benchmarking practices coupled with hands-on experience administering salary reviews that balance market competitiveness with internal fairness.
- Strong background in designing performance management frameworks that encourage continuous feedback loops while supporting individual growth trajectories.
- Proven track record in succession planning activities including identification of high-potential employees through structured assessment centres or leadership programmes.
- In-depth understanding of industrial relations best practices combined with practical experience resolving complex employee relations issues within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with developing internal talent pipelines via targeted learning interventions such as mentoring schemes or executive coaching sessions.
