This role gives the chance to collaborate closely with senior leaders across APAC and Europe, this role is perfect for someone who wants to work closely with senior management in local and regional level and setting up HR from scratch in the international level standard.
What you'll do:
As Human Resources Manager, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for all aspects of human resources within the organisation’s Thailand operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating closely with managers to understand their unique challenges while supporting them through every stage of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment through onboarding to ongoing development.
You will design robust HR processes tailored to business needs while ensuring compliance with both global frameworks and local legislation. Your ability to coach others without direct supervisory authority will be essential as you nurture talent at all levels. Additionally, you’ll oversee critical administrative functions such as payroll changes or policy updates—ensuring accuracy at every step—and act as a trusted advisor during times of change or challenge.
* Formulate human resources strategy and goals in partnership with managers to address key business challenges and organisational needs.
* Support senior leadership in developing and executing the HR vision for Thailand by translating strategic objectives into actionable HR processes.
* Design, implement, and communicate improved HR policies and instruments that align with both global guidelines and local requirements.
* Promote consistent use of HR tools among managers and employees while ensuring all processes are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
* Lead recruitment efforts for Thailand including sourcing, onboarding, hiring, integration, and exit procedures while acting as the main point of contact for agencies and educational institutions.
* Optimise performance management, talent development, succession planning, onboarding journeys, employee engagement initiatives, and proactively suggest improvements.
* Coach, advise, and support managers and employees on all aspects of people management including performance issues, development plans, labour disputes, absenteeism, legal matters, and more.
* Oversee all HR administration including salary reviews, merit increases, bonuses, promotions, adjustments, reporting on HR data, policy updates, and handbook maintenance.
* Facilitate effective internal communication by advising stakeholders on consultation processes, promoting collaboration across teams, ensuring regular information sharing, and participating in continuous improvement events.
What you bring:
To excel as Human Resources Manager in this organisation’s Thailand office, your background in manufacturing is valuable. Knolwedge in Labor Law and have the idea of what good looks like will be advantage to this role. This person has to be able to be in the middle of structure while able to work closely upwards and manage all operation related tasks to run smoothly. Workday experience is a plus.
* At least fifteen years’ experience in human resources rolesin manufacturing environment
* Proven ability to work collaboratively across cultures with excellent teamwork skills; you thrive when supporting others’ growth through coaching or mentoring.
* Exceptional interpersonal communication skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships at all levels of the organisation.
* Experience designing or implementing HR policies/processes that comply with both local labour law requirements and international standards.
* Strong analytical abilities allowing you to interpret numerical data resourcefully while preparing insightful reports for decision-makers.
* Outstanding organisational skills; you manage multiple priorities efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail or quality outcomes.
* Fluency in English (spoken/written) is essential due to frequent interaction with regional/global colleagues; proficiency in Workday is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters discreetly while offering empathetic guidance during challenging situations.
