Human Resources and General Administration Manager

Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating closely with managers to deliver seamless HR operations from recruitment through onboarding while ensuring every process aligns with both local regulations and global standards. Your expertise will be vital in managing payroll accuracy as well as administering comprehensive benefits packages that enhance overall employee satisfaction.

  • Oversee daily human resources operations to ensure full compliance with company policies, Thai labour laws, and internal procedures while maintaining high standards of confidentiality.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and best practices to align with organisational goals and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on matters such as employee relations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns to foster a harmonious work environment.
  • Maintain accurate employee master data and personnel files within HR systems by ensuring timely updates and strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Prepare detailed HR reports including manpower statistics and regional summaries to support strategic decision-making at both local and regional levels.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities from workforce planning through job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer preparation, onboarding processes, and orientation programmes for new hires.
  • Coordinate employment contracts, probation evaluations, employee transfers, separations, background checks, and employment documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee payroll administration to guarantee accuracy and timeliness while managing employee benefits such as provident fund contributions, group insurance schemes, medical coverage, annual health check-ups, welfare programmes, salary reviews, bonus administration, and compensation-related activities.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives including CSR programmes, communication sessions, company events, wellness activities; handle grievances; conduct exit interviews; analyse turnover trends; coordinate internal communications to promote company culture.
  • Manage expatriate support services encompassing visa applications, work permits renewals (including 90-day reporting), relocation assistance for expatriates’ families (housing searches/schooling/settling-in), liaising with government authorities/external agencies/internal stakeholders for legal compliance.

What you bring:

  • At least 10 years’ proven experience in human resources management combined with significant exposure to general administration functions at managerial level within multinational organisations or regional settings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Thai labour law coupled with practical knowledge of HR best practices including payroll processing procedures and effective employee relations strategies.
  • Ability to manage expatriate affairs such as visa applications/work permits/relocation logistics/immigration compliance while liaising effectively with government bodies/external agencies/internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships across all levels of the organisation whilst providing empathetic guidance on sensitive issues like conflict resolution or disciplinary action.
  • Excellent written/spoken command of English & Thai languages
  • Plus proficiency using Microsoft Office suite & HR information systems (preferably SAP).
  • Strong organisational abilities evidenced by meticulous attention to detail when updating records/preparing reports/managing multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines without compromising quality or confidentiality.
  • Proven track record in leading successful recruitment campaigns from initial planning through onboarding/orientation stages ensuring positive candidate experiences throughout the hiring process.
  • Experience designing/delivering engaging training programmes/supporting succession planning initiatives aimed at developing talent pipelines aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to supervise administrative staff/vendors/service providers efficiently whilst maintaining smooth operation of office facilities/procurement processes/vendor relationships/maintenance services.
