What you'll do:
- Implement and continuously improve quality and food safety systems to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
- Manage and maintain food safety programmes, including HACCP, verification activities, and related compliance requirements.
- Support quality and food safety incident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor quality and food safety performance, identify potential risks, and recommend appropriate improvement actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality systems, reduce operational risks, and improve manufacturing performance.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on quality, food safety, and relevant procedures and standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support new projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives while maintaining quality and food safety standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to audits, investigations, corrective actions, and quality performance.
- Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in quality and food safety within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Good knowledge of food safety standards, quality management systems, and HACCP principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Experience in conducting or supporting internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different functions.
- HACCP certification or relevant training in food safety is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Ability to prepare clear reports, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience working on cross-functional projects and supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to provide training or guidance to colleagues on quality, food safety, and related procedures.
