Project Manager (Contract)

A newly established regional manufacturing organisation is seeking a Project Manager (Contract) based in Bangkok to play a key role in driving strategic projects and building project management capabilities across the business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. As the business continues to grow across the region, you will help establish best practices, enhance operational efficiency, and drive collaboration across multiple functions. What you'll do:

• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including project standards, reporting structures, decision-making processes, and escalation protocols across regional business initiatives.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, resources, and key dependencies.
• Partner with regional and local stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Information Technology (IT) to drive cross-functional project execution and alignment.
• Coordinate strategic and operational projects supporting the establishment, integration, and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations across the region.
• Monitor project progress by tracking milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and resource utilisation, while providing regular updates to senior leadership and project sponsors.
• Facilitate governance meetings, drive issue resolution, and ensure timely decisions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare executive dashboards, project reports, and steering committee materials to communicate project performance and business outcomes.
• Capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements to strengthen project delivery, governance, and organisational capability.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or business transformation, preferably within a consumer product manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, governance, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in a regional or matrix organisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other project management tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
• Professional proficiency in English and Thai.
