Operational Excellence Specialist – Foods
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to lead the implementation, sustainability, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing excellence systems within the factory. This role will work closely with factory leadership and cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency through loss elimination, capability development, digital transformation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position is responsible for enhancing factory performance in areas such as productivity, quality, cost efficiency, waste reduction, and equipment effectiveness while promoting data-driven decision-making and sustainable practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment, governance, and sustainability of operational excellence systems to align with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and data-driven problem-solving techniques to eliminate losses and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to monitor progress, improve system maturity, and ensure sustainable results through effective change management.
- Manage cost optimization efforts by overseeing productivity pipelines, tracking savings initiatives, and developing aligned roadmaps.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and capability-building programs across all levels of the organization.
- Champion digital transformation by leveraging data analytics tools to identify opportunities, track performance metrics, and enhance decision-making processes.
- Promote best practices and replicate successful strategies to drive operational excellence across the factory.
- Build team expertise in Lean methodologies, TPM, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools while driving employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or related fields
- 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing operations or continuous improvement roles; FMCG experience is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in data visualization and automation tools like Power BI or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects with measurable results in productivity, quality, cost reduction, or waste management.
- High-performance mindset with adaptability, passion for learning, and the ability to lead change effectively.
