Factory Manager – Plastic Injection and Assembly
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Factory Manager to oversee the operations of manufacturing facility. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading a team to achieve performance goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety and compliance. As Factory Manager, you will play a critical role in driving productivity and delivering high-quality products that align with customer expectations and business objectives.
What you'll do:
- Lead overall production operations covering plastic injection and assembly, ensuring production plans, priorities, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Manage and develop a team of approximately 300 operations staff, including production leaders, ensuring effective manpower planning, performance, and adherence to operating standards.
- Oversee 24-hour operations, coordinating production capacity with customer orders and sales requirements.
- Drive productivity improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives across production operations.
- Oversee maintenance, facility management, and health, safety & environmental (HSE) activities to ensure a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
- Establish and improve departmental processes, workflows, and operating standards to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Communicate company policies, operational updates, and business objectives clearly across the production team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in plastic injection and assembly manufacturing, preferably with experience in a high-volume production environment.
- Proven experience managing large production teams, with strong leadership and people management skills.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, productivity improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001 and workplace safety standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
