A leading organisation in the logistics and production sector is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless plants engineering operations.

What you'll do:

As Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of maintenance services across production facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve strategic planning for plant operations, managing budgets for capital expenditures, coordinating training needs assessments, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring efficient asset utilisation.

• Provide strategic input into the Plant Business Plan by contributing to capital expenditure planning, resource allocation, training needs assessment, headcount management, unit cost analysis, and asset return optimisation.
• Take responsibility for achieving manufacturing unit cost targets within the established plan by monitoring expenses and implementing cost control measures throughout the facility.
• Set key performance indicator targets related to customer responsiveness, machine utilisation rates, productivity levels on production lines, machine run efficiency metrics, downtime reduction strategies, response time improvements, safety standards adherence, and overall cost control.
• Communicate performance targets clearly to maintenance staff while fostering a culture of teamwork and shared responsibility for meeting objectives.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Engineering and Maintenance Manager position brings extensive experience in plant maintenance—demonstrated through at least seven years spent navigating complex operational challenges within industrial settings

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering—Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial—or equivalent qualification is required for this role.
• At least seven years’ experience in plant maintenance demonstrates your dependability in handling complex operational challenges within industrial environments.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Thai enable you to connect effectively with diverse teams across departments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plant control systems ensures you can optimise machinery performance while maintaining high standards of reliability.
• Process instrumentation expertise coupled with strong understanding of control mechanisms allows you to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
