The role will be responsible for ensuring high levels of equipment reliability, technical availability, safety, and operational efficiency across the site. Working closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams, the Engineering and Maintenance Manager will provide technical leadership, establish effective maintenance strategies, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the site’s facilities, utilities, and production assets operate safely and efficiently.

What you'll do:

  • Lead engineering and maintenance activities to ensure high equipment reliability, technical availability, and stable manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and optimise asset performance.
  • Oversee maintenance of production equipment, utilities, facilities, and critical site infrastructure.
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Manage engineering projects, equipment installation, upgrades, commissioning, and CAPEX initiatives, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs, budgets, and costs, using data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and develop engineering and maintenance teams, including capability development, performance management, and technical training.
  • Work closely with Operations, Quality, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure engineering and maintenance activities support business, safety, and food safety objectives.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of engineering and maintenance experience, with proven management or leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in food, FMCG, or other high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management, asset reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing engineering projects, CAPEX, utilities, and manufacturing infrastructure.
  • Experience with SAP/CMMS and wastewater treatment systems is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of Thai and English, both written and spoken.
