* Take ownership of end-to-end operations for Markets and Securities Services in Thailand, ensuring high-quality service delivery and continuous process improvement across all products and client segments.

What you'll do:


As Head of Operations and Client Management, you will play a central role in shaping the future of Markets and Securities Services operations in Thailand. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing complex workflows from front to back office while ensuring that every aspect of service delivery meets the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—locally, regionally, and globally—to implement strategic changes that drive efficiency without compromising quality or compliance. By championing process improvements such as automation initiatives or streamlined reporting mechanisms, you will help reduce manual workloads while enhancing accuracy. Your ability to build trust-based relationships with internal partners like Sales or Product Control—and external parties such as regulators or vendors—will be crucial in delivering seamless client experiences. Success in this role means not only meeting but exceeding expectations around risk management, stakeholder engagement, team morale, and operational excellence.


* Provide senior management oversight for all operational activities supporting Markets and Securities Services business in Thailand, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services to clients.
* Champion the adoption of best practices from other markets to simplify processes, create synergies across operations, and deliver scalable solutions tailored to local needs.
* Monitor market developments closely to ensure operational readiness for new products or regulatory changes, supporting successful product launches in partnership with Sales, Trading, Product, and Account Management teams.
* Manage operational risk by identifying potential issues early, implementing effective controls, mitigating risks proactively, and ensuring timely escalation when necessary.
* Act as the primary point of contact for local stakeholders regarding operational matters, advocating for client needs and driving service enhancement plans including incident management reporting.
* Build strong relationships with key business partners both internally and externally to support business objectives through dependable service delivery and collaborative problem-solving.
* Drive regional initiatives focused on process improvements within the local market, reducing manual interventions through automation and standardisation wherever possible.
* Ensure transparent communication with global and regional operations teams during strategic change implementations so that all stakeholders remain informed and aligned.
* Oversee performance metrics using agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs), providing regular updates to local business leaders on operational effectiveness.
* Promote a positive team culture by encouraging open dialogue through regular meetings, supporting professional growth opportunities, and maintaining employee engagement at levels above industry benchmarks.

* Exceptional communication skills enabling you to articulate intricate issues clearly to diverse audiences including senior management, regulators, vendors, or offshore teams.
* Demonstrated ability to identify risks early on; manage conduct-risk effectively; design robust control frameworks; and respond swiftly to incidents or complaints.
* Outstanding organisational skills allowing you to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under pressure or during periods of ambiguity.
* Track record of successful people management—including developing talent within large teams from varied backgrounds—and promoting an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued.
* Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders such as Front Office staff, Product Control specialists, Technology partners as well as external parties like regulators or vendors.
* Proven capability in driving process improvements—such as automating reports or streamlining deadlines—to boost productivity without sacrificing quality or compliance standards.
* Ability to adapt quickly within evolving environments marked by frequent changes in products, regulations or market practices; resilience in guiding teams through transformation initiatives.
