What you'll do:

As a Fund Manager – Foreign Investment Fund based in Bangkok, you will be responsible for driving the success of the FIF platform through a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both local stakeholders and international colleagues to ensure seamless product management across multiple asset classes. You will analyse market trends to identify new opportunities for growth while developing innovative business cases for new funds. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering insightful commentary on market conditions as well as preparing compelling presentations for clients. You will also play a crucial role in training relationship managers and distributors so they can effectively communicate complex investment concepts to clients. In addition to overseeing portfolio implementation activities such as hedging or liquidity management alongside offshore teams, you will ensure strict adherence to Thai SEC regulations throughout all stages of the product lifecycle. • Support the management and growth of the Thailand Foreign Investment Fund platform by monitoring product performance, fund flows, performance attribution, portfolio characteristics, and competitive positioning across relevant asset classes.
• Conduct competitor analysis and identify market trends and emerging opportunities across multiple asset classes to inform product strategy and development.
• Coordinate with regional and global investment teams on product enhancements, new initiatives, and investment solutions to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Assist with the launch, repositioning, and development of new investment products and strategies by leading product development initiatives and enhancement projects.
• Develop comprehensive business cases for new funds and investment solutions while supporting product strategy and positioning across key client segments.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned investment capabilities and strategies by providing investment insights, market perspectives, outlooks, views, product positioning, and competitive intelligence.
• Prepare fund commentaries, market updates, investment presentations, training materials, and translate global investment views into relevant local client messaging.
• Deliver investment and product training to relationship managers, distributors, internal stakeholders; represent investment capabilities in client meetings; participate in presentations for institutional, intermediary, wholesale, and HNW investors; support roadshows, seminars, conferences, and other events.
• Support portfolio implementation activities by coordinating with offshore portfolio management teams to ensure effective fund implementation; monitor hedging activities and currency management; support liquidity and cash management activities.
• Ensure all investment activities comply with applicable Thai SEC requirements by supporting fund governance processes; provide oversight of fund implementation; contribute to strategic platform decisions; maintain strong operational risk management standards.

• Mandatory: Possession of a valid Thai SEC Fund Manager License is required for this role due to regulatory obligations governing foreign investment products in Thailand.
• Mandatory: Demonstrated experience (3–5 years) in asset management or related fields such as foreign investment funds (FIF), multi-asset solutions, offshore investments or investment product management roles.
• Mandatory: Strong understanding of Thai fund regulations including regulatory requirements relating to offshore/foreign investment products; proven ability to support regulatory submissions/approvals/processes.
• Mandatory: Excellent analytical skills combined with strong attention to detail; ability to monitor performance attribution/portfolio risks/investment parameters effectively.
• Mandatory: Highly organised approach with robust governance standards; capable of maintaining operational risk controls throughout product lifecycles.
