Corporate Strategy (Senior Manager)
A leading global insurtech organisation is seeking a Senior Manager for Corporate Strategy to join their Group Strategy team in Bangkok. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Group CEO, Executive Committee, and leaders across regions and functions, addressing the most important strategic priorities of the business. You will be at the heart of shaping enterprise strategy, driving growth choices, and supporting long-term business planning on a global scale. The position promises hands-on involvement in complex projects, direct ownership of high-quality modelling and executive materials, and flexibility to collaborate across international time zones. If you are passionate about making an impact in a fast-moving environment and thrive on working with diverse teams, this is your chance to contribute to exciting products spanning three continents while advancing your career within a supportive and knowledgeable network.
What you'll do:
As Senior Manager Corporate Strategy based in Bangkok, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s future direction by leading high-impact projects that span multiple regions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve structuring ambiguous questions into actionable strategies, conducting thorough market analyses to develop practical recommendations, and producing executive-ready materials for senior leadership. You will be instrumental in building effective frameworks for planning and performance measurement while supporting transformation initiatives such as partnerships or M&A activities. Success in this role requires balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution—managing shifting priorities across international time zones—and fostering collaboration among diverse teams. By coaching junior colleagues and sharing best practices from consulting environments, you will help maintain a high-performing culture within the Group Strategy team. Your ability to synthesise complex data into compelling narratives will ensure alignment among stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead complex Group strategy projects from problem definition through analysis, stakeholder alignment, and delivery, ensuring clarity in recommendations and executable plans.
- Support the development and execution of enterprise strategy by contributing to strategic priorities, growth choices, market assessments, portfolio reviews, and long-term business planning.
- Develop fact-based insights through rigorous market, competitor, customer, and financial analysis; produce robust business cases and scenario models to inform investment decisions.
- Create concise, decision-ready materials for senior audiences including the Group CEO, Executive Committee, Board members, and investors; facilitate alignment across regional and functional leaders.
- Help build and embed effective strategy frameworks, planning processes, and performance measures throughout the organisation; contribute to transformation initiatives as needed.
- Participate in selected partnership, fundraising, and M&A topics by providing analytical support and strategic guidance where required.
- Coach junior colleagues within the Group Strategy team by sharing consulting approaches and maintaining consistently high standards of output.
- Constructively challenge assumptions during project work while influencing outcomes without relying on formal authority.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment; manage changing priorities effectively across cultures and global time zones.
- Synthesise complex information into clear narratives for senior stakeholders; communicate confidently with judgement and discretion.

You are comfortable taking ownership of projects end-to-end while producing high-quality outputs under tight deadlines. Your interpersonal skills allow you to build trust across diverse teams globally while constructively challenging assumptions to influence outcomes. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is essential for developing executive-level materials that support decision-making processes. A tertiary qualification in an analytically rigorous discipline underpins your approach to market sizing and scenario modelling. Experience within insurance or regulated sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
