What you'll do:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include staying ahead of legislative changes, conducting audits to pinpoint vulnerabilities, developing training sessions that empower colleagues with essential knowledge, preparing insightful reports for leadership teams, and acting as the main liaison with regulatory authorities. By building strong connections across departments and providing practical guidance tailored to business needs, you will help embed compliance into every aspect of operations. Your ability to assess risks accurately and offer strategic insights will be crucial in maintaining organisational integrity. Success in this role hinges on your capacity to balance independent oversight with collaborative engagement—ensuring that compliance is woven seamlessly into daily practices while supporting others in their understanding of complex requirements.
- Design and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures that ensure the organisation remains aligned with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay informed about changes in legal requirements by monitoring regulatory updates, proactively revising company policies as needed to maintain full compliance.
- Conduct thorough internal audits and investigations to identify potential risks, address gaps in processes, and ensure adherence to both internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop engaging compliance training programmes for employees at all levels, enhancing awareness of responsibilities and promoting a culture of ethical behaviour throughout the organisation.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key risks, areas requiring attention, and recommendations for improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies by managing examinations, responding promptly to inquiries, and facilitating transparent communication between stakeholders.
- Build effective relationships across business units by offering practical compliance advice tailored to specific needs, supporting initiatives, and ensuring seamless implementation of regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to maintain the compliance framework, providing insights on emerging trends or regulatory developments to leadership teams.
- Oversee monitoring activities related to compliance programmes, ensuring timely completion of reporting obligations and accurate documentation.
- Foster a collaborative environment where ethical conduct is valued by leading teams in implementing best practices for compliance.

- High level of accuracy when preparing regulatory filings, compliance reports, policies, or documentation required by internal or external parties.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams by fostering a culture of ethical conduct and compliance throughout the organisation’s structure.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; capable of translating intricate regulatory requirements into accessible guidance for diverse audiences.
