What you'll do:

As the Alternative Distribution Channel Head – Non-Life Insurance, you will be entrusted with steering the organisation’s alternative marketing strategy towards new heights. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating the efforts of multiple teams across Financial Services, Telesales, and Partner & Digital channels to maximise their collective impact on revenue generation. By identifying untapped market opportunities and nurturing strategic alliances with key partners—including banks, brokers, e-commerce platforms, and affinity groups—you will broaden the company’s reach far beyond conventional agency networks. Your ability to set clear goals for your teams while championing digital transformation will be crucial in streamlining processes and enhancing both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Working hand-in-hand with other departments such as Product Development and Compliance ensures that every initiative is executed seamlessly within regulatory frameworks. Your leadership will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of collaboration where every team member feels empowered to contribute ideas for continuous improvement.   • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for alternative distribution channels that align with overall business objectives and support long-term organisational growth.
  • Oversee the performance of three core revenue-generating channels—Financial Services (bancassurance, brokers), Telesales, and Partner & Digital (e-commerce, affinity partnerships)—ensuring each achieves its targets for customer acquisition and profitability.
  • Identify new market opportunities by building strategic partnerships with financial institutions, digital platforms, and ecosystem players to expand customer reach beyond traditional agency models.
  • Drive topline growth by establishing clear KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks that monitor channel effectiveness and optimise sales funnels across all segments.
  • Mentor and develop a diverse team of around 100 employees—including senior managers—by fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, skill development, and succession planning.
  • Spearhead digital transformation initiatives within distribution channels by leveraging technology, analytics, automation tools, and data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Underwriting, Claims Management, Marketing, IT, Risk, and Compliance to ensure seamless execution of channel strategies while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and customer preferences to introduce innovative sales approaches tailored to each channel’s unique needs.
  • Enhance customer experience across all digital and partner touchpoints by implementing best practices in service delivery and engagement.
  • Ensure all distribution activities adhere strictly to internal policies as well as external regulatory requirements to uphold operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred for this senior leadership role.
  • At least 12–15 years’ proven experience within insurance or financial services industries with substantial exposure to multi-channel sales management environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading large-scale sales organisations—ideally managing teams of 100 or more professionals across various functions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in at least two areas: telesales operations; bancassurance/financial services partnerships; or digital distribution strategies within insurance or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth while managing full P&L responsibilities for complex business units or divisions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on mentoring diverse teams through supportive guidance and structured development programmes.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities combined with strong commercial acumen—enabling you to translate high-level objectives into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management abilities supported by excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across all levels of the organisation.
  • Deep understanding of Thailand’s insurance market dynamics—including regulatory requirements—and familiarity with local consumer behaviour trends.
