Non-motor Claim (Senior - Manager)

You will play an integral role in overseeing the end-to-end process of non-motor insurance claims. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing the claims operation to ensure every case is handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards. You will be responsible for processing documentation, updating databases, organising records, preparing insightful reports for management review, and coordinating with internal teams such as finance and accounting.

What you'll do:

As the Senior Manager Non-Motor Claims, you will play an integral role in overseeing the end-to-end process of non-motor insurance claims. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing the claims operation to ensure every case is handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards. You will be responsible for processing documentation, updating databases, organising records, preparing insightful reports for management review, and coordinating with internal teams such as finance and accounting. Success in this role requires you to be detail-oriented, responsive to client needs, and proactive in supporting your colleagues. By contributing your expertise in claims management and fostering positive relationships across departments, you will help maintain the company's reputation for exceptional service while driving operational excellence.

  • Oversee daily operations of non-motor claims handling and servicing to ensure all claims are processed efficiently and client satisfaction is consistently achieved according to company standards.
  • Process claim documentation including correspondence and loss adjuster reports with meticulous attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Open new claims and adjust existing claims within the claim database system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly recorded.
  • Organise detailed office or warehouse records by maintaining comprehensive claim files for each incident, supporting effective tracking and retrieval.
  • Assist with additional work processing tasks or other responsibilities as needed to support the wider claims team.
  • Prepare regular reports for management such as new claim enquiries, monthly claim performance reports, and any ad hoc requests required by senior management.
  • Coordinate closely with accounting and finance teams regarding claim payments, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Support colleagues by assisting with other tasks as required by management, fostering a collaborative team environment.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager Non-Motor Claims role brings a blend of technical expertise, industry experience, interpersonal skills, and organisational ability. Your background in engineering or a related discipline gives you the analytical tools needed for complex insurance scenarios. With at least four years’ experience in general insurance—especially Property & Casualty—you have developed a deep understanding of claims processes.   • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field provides you with the technical foundation necessary for understanding complex insurance cases.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in general insurance—preferably within Property & Casualty—ensures you bring proven industry knowledge to the team.
