What you'll do:


As Head of Accounting and Finance, you will be entrusted with steering the entire accounting and finance function for the organisation. Your days will be filled with opportunities to collaborate with talented colleagues as you guide your team through complex financial landscapes. You will have responsibility for ensuring all regulatory reporting requirements are met with precision while simultaneously championing digital transformation projects that enhance operational workflows. * Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies as well as external regulations.
* Design and implement digital transformation strategies aimed at streamlining accounting processes and enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
* Lead, mentor, and support a large team of finance professionals by fostering an environment built on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), maintaining full compliance with relevant standards including IFRS 17.
* Drive change management initiatives across the finance function to embed new technologies and ways of working that support organisational goals.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with broader business strategies and deliver shared success.
* Monitor key performance indicators for the finance department, identifying areas for optimisation and implementing solutions that promote efficiency.
