CEO ( Digital Asset Platform)

Our client is a leading digital asset custody platform in Thailand, with strong ambitions to expand regionally across Southeast Asia. The CEO will be responsible for building a scalable, compliant, and sustainable business—anchored in regulatory excellence, institutional trust, and long-term ecosystem development.

This role requires a visionary leader who can drive growth beyond traditional sales models by building strategic partnerships, expanding the digital asset ecosystem, and enhancing client engagement and retention, while maintaining strong financial discipline and delivering profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with the Thailand SEC regulatory framework and maintain standards at all times
• Act as the primary liaison with regulators, ensuring transparency and strong governance practices
• Oversee implementation of robust risk management, compliance, and custody security frameworks
• Maintain deep understanding of digital asset regulations, including custody requirements, wallet management, and cryptographic key protocols
• Leverage established relationships within Thailand’s digital asset ecosystem, including key market players
• Drive strategic partnerships, integrations, and collaborations to strengthen market positioning
• Act as a recognized industry leader, influencing institutional adoption of digital asset solutions
• Represent the company across industry forums, regulators, and key stakeholders
• Lead strategic asset acquisition initiatives, driving Assets Under Custody (AUC) growth through strong institutional networks
• Utilize existing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and HNWIs to accelerate business traction
• Develop and execute expansion strategies, including evolving from custody services into broker/dealer and investment advisory models
• Identify new revenue streams and scalable business models across the digital asset value chain
• Oversee digital asset custody infrastructure, including MPC (Multi-Party Computation) and HSM (Hardware Security Modules)
• Ensure best practices in managing hot and cold wallet environments with strong security protocols
• Drive operational excellence, scalability, and resilience across all business functions
• Lead the organization with strong cost discipline and financial oversigh
• Deliver sustainable growth, breakeven targets, and long-term profitability
• Demonstrated ablility to bring assets under custody from day one throught a pre-existing of institutional clients, family offices, and HNWIs
• Build and lead a high-performing leadership team aligned with company vision and culture

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience within a financial institution or regulated digital asset business
• Strong understanding of Thailand SEC regulations and digital asset compliance frameworks
• Proven track record in business development, partnerships, and scaling financial or digital asset platforms
• Deep network within Thailand’s digital asset and financial ecosystem
• Strong commercial acumen with entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to balance aggressive growth with risk and regulatory considerations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including regulators and institutional clients
• Fluent communication skills in both Thai and English
