Head of Investment Banking (M&A)

What you'll do:

• Identify promising investment opportunities by conducting thorough feasibility studies and market research to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Lead all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings, managing processes from origination through execution while maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
• Follow up on leads from interested parties regarding acquisition opportunities, overseeing projects from confidentiality agreement execution through to successful closing.
• Monitor performance metrics for the company as well as its subsidiary and associate companies, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting are maintained at all times.
• Actively address challenges faced by investee companies by providing thoughtful solutions that support their long-term growth and stability.
• Analyse changes, incidents, and problem records to determine trends, uncover underlying causes, and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for the Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Board of Directors on deal flows, investment projects, and overall group performance.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to share insights, foster teamwork, and ensure best practices are implemented across all investment banking activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations including SEC/SET rules to ensure compliance throughout all transactions.

• Familiarity with SEC/SET rules is essential for ensuring regulatory compliance throughout all transactions undertaken by the team.
• At least ten years’ experience within financial services is highly desirable to bring valuable perspective on market dynamics and best practices.
• Outstanding analytical skills are necessary for evaluating complex financial information and making sound recommendations that benefit the organisation.
