What you'll do:

As a Senior Relationship Manager – International Banking, you will immerse yourself in the world of global corporate finance by managing a diverse portfolio of accounts. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations while preparing detailed credit proposals that reflect your deep understanding of industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of accounts within the designated business segment, ensuring each client receives attentive and personalised service.
  • Proactively prospect new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing large corporate customers, particularly those from China or operating in Chinese markets.
  • Cross-sell a range of corporate banking products and services, demonstrating sensitivity to client requirements and offering solutions that add value.
  • Provide excellent service to all clients by responding promptly to enquiries, resolving issues with compassion, and building lasting connections.
  • Achieve individual business targets through collaborative teamwork, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to reach communal goals.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals in accordance with delegated authority, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with banking operations, policies, laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to international markets—including those specific to Chinese markets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of banking services, fostering a culture of cooperation and mutual support.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines is required for this position.
  • At least 8 years’ experience serving large corporate clients within the Banking or Financial sectors is preferred for candidates applying for this role.
  • Managerial experience is essential as you will be expected to guide junior staff members and support team objectives.
  • A thorough knowledge of corporate banking products as well as treasury services is necessary for effective client engagement.
  • Familiarity with banking operations including policies, laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to international markets- and specifically Chinese markets - is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial for building trust-based relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Outstanding communication abilities in both spoken and written English as well as Mandarin are required for this role; proficiency in Thai local language is mandatory.
  • A commitment to collaborative work practices that promote inclusivity and shared success within the team environment.
